This printer prints about average quality for an inkjet. I have not tried to print on photo paper yet though. The thing I like the best about this product is the ability to print CD's, it does a fine job although the software that is provided is pretty basic and you have to use that software to print onto CDs. The best thing I've found is to design the CDs in a different program and then import a .jpg into Epson's software to print.
Overall, I have not had any jams as of yet, running about 350 envelopes through. So far it does what I bought it for.
