Received my pair of Samsung SSD drives quickly as is typical of Macmall. Price was excellent. I have these drives installed in a dual drive enclosure in Raid 0 and attached it as a LAN drive. Seems to work fine. The drives were easy to install.

SSD reasonable price and fast, 2013-04-18

Samsung 840 series SSD is reasonable fast, easy to install. I replace the HDD in my late 2008 Macbook unibody and used an Easydock device to copy my hard drive to the SSD after reboot with Mountain Lion on a bootable 8GB USB flash drive.

Like a charm, 2013-04-30

Just cloned the SSD with Acronis True Image 2013. It cloned without problems. Trial booted thru an Esata port to confirm accurate cloning. Installed in laptop which booted quickly and is loading programs quickly and quietly. Power consumption has dropped by better than 70%. According to Toshibas Eco utility current draw is down to 10 watts while loading programs vs. 30-35 watts with the OEM Toshiba drive. The drive was a good price and was delivered faster then expected. Will buy from the store again.

Blazing fast, 2013-05-15

I've been using a Samsung 830 and 2 840s in my MacPro as boot drives. They are all unbelievably fast in comparison with a 7200 rpm 32 cache harddrive. I chose the 830 as the main boot as it may be more reliable and durable than the 840s, but that may take years to prove... We'll see.
