Worth the purchase, 2012-03-31
By McDaniel
MS Office for Mac is an excellent product. I do not have to switch back and form from my Dell and Mac to use Office. It is a seamless product. If you are a owner of more than one Mac pc/laptop product, you can not beat the price for 3 licenses.

Great Product!, 2012-04-06
By Amanda
I was happy to find Office for Mac 2011 at a great price. I received it in a timely manner, installed it, and it works perfectly with OS Lion! I have Pages, but Word has a few more capabilities that I was missing. All of the Office products included work well, function like needed, and I have no issues with compatibility. Thanks for having this product at a great price!

Don't buy it 'till they fix it!, 2011-09-28
By Nick
If you're thinking of buying it for the expectation that Word will now "save as" a pdf file (as shown in the ads), don't do it. All MS did (as far as I can tell) is re-label Apple's method of creating a pdf file (choose "print" and then "save as pdf"), meaning that all the http:// links will still be dead (unless the http:// specifically appears).
Besides that, as you can check in various forums, MS has screwed-up Word's organization of footnotes: they no longer appear on the pages on which you insert the footnote reference number. As a result, when you're typing your manuscript, you'll lose all sense of the appearance of the final version.
In sum, it's not only a waste of money, you'll be paying MS to cause you even more aggravation. I've gone back to using my older version of Office and won't use the 2011 version until MS fixes it -- if they ever do.

Office:mac 2011, 2012-02-25

The new interface for Word is very nice. The number and variety of Templates is exceptional. I especially like the toolbar built into each application.
If you own a Mac, and don't have Office:mac 2011, you should buy it now.
