The Big Disk Quadra was created for professionals who expect high speed and capacity in an easy-to-use, compact hard disk. With eSATA 3Gbits, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 & Hi-Speed USB 2.0, it offers complete universal compatibility with any Mac or PC. With built-in RAID 0, it reaches fast burst transfer rates of up to 165MB/s** (eSATA 3Gbits), making it ideal for audio/video editors, creative professionals or database managers.

It comes with advanced backup software with computer recovery: Genie Backup Manager Pro for Windows and Intego Backup Manager Pro for Mac users. This versatile hard disk offers various space-saving configurations - vertical, horizontal, stacked or rack-mounted. The unique, fanless aluminum heat sink design with 60% more surface area for heat dissipation keeps it quiet and safe. The LaCie Shortcut Button on the front launches any backup or library application of your choosing in just one push.***
