I bought this monitor, and it has worked out very well. It is the cheapest monitor I could find, and is very high quality. The anti-glare LED screen is great.

Good Business Monitor, 2012-08-22

HP has a confusing array of different monitors. I bought this one thinking it was the 2311x instead of the LV2311. The main benefits to the 2311x are that it comes with both VGA and DVI cables, and has an HDMI port. I was a little bit disappointed that this monitor did not come with a DVI cable in the box (a VGA cable is included). But on the other hand, this monitor is slightly more energy efficient both when on and idle, and comes with a 3 year warranty instead of a standard 1 year warranty.
Assembly was quite easy and involved inserting the arm into the back of the monitor and then into the base. The only thing I'd like to have is a slightly taller arm/base, or the ability to adjust height. It's a bit shorter than ideal sitting on my desk, so I end up having to tilt it back some. I wasn't blow away by the picture quality, but the viewing angles are wide enough, colors and contrasts are good enough, and text is sharp enough for the office use that I do mostly. Works well, didn't have any dead pixels, and the reaction time is great. Would've liked it to have HDMI and speakers, but for the price, it isn't really a turn off.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect when I ordered this at the price that it was being advertised at , but after receiving the monitor and using as a second monitor for my 27" IMac using Mountain Lion and windows 7 I am real pleased with it's performance overall.

The HP 23 inch LED monitor is a wonderful product for my computing system. The high quality viewing from the 1080p LCD monitor makes computing work a pleasure. For the money, this is a great monitor. Nice-n-bright, decent color & controls. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is sometimes the monitor will not wake up after my MacBook Pro has put it to sleep. I have to restart in order to get this monitor to come back "on." I never put my MacBook in full sleep mode, only put the screen to sleep. Still, this is not a huge deal, just an occasional annoyance.
