APC Enterprise Manager is the perfect tool for any APC customer with a large number of APC devices or has APC devices spread across a large geographic area. Its real-time status and event notification ensure that you will be notified if any power problems arise, while its unique inventory and battery status reports allow you to proactively maintain the health and efficiency of your UPS systems. Compatibility:
Current Version: Version 3.11
Current Enterprise Manager v3.0 users can download a free update file which upgrades the software to Version 3.11. This update file is available in the Software Download section of APC's web site.
The Enterprise Manager v3.11 update file provides a security patch for the bundled Apache Web Server and adds two main features to the application:

– Realtime status monitoring of APC MasterSwitch units, including MasterSwitch, MasterSwitch plus, and MasterSwitch VM units.
– Ability to monitor and inventory APC UPSs which are connected to servers running PowerChute plus for NT/2000 or Netware, without the need of an SNMP agent. Customers who have an installed base of PowerChute plus servers, but failed to install the SNMP agent can now centrally monitor these units via Enterprise Manager v3.11.

Manageability:
Real-Time Monitoring: APC Enterprise Manager provides real-time monitoring of APC devices, enabling you to quickly resolve power anomolies which could affect network availability. Enterprise Manager's default device status screen categorizes each APC UPS on the network by its current status and provides a description of problems as they arise.
Centralized Management Console: A single console which outlines the status and health of each APC UPS on the network and enables IT Managers to monitor, configure and diagnose their entire APC power infrastructure.
Battery Status Reports: These reports help alleviate a major risk of downtime by providing detailed reports on battery age, load, health, etc facilitating the timely replacement of UPS batteries.
Downtime and On Battery Reports: These unique reports help determine the runtime necessary throughout users' networks. Network administrators are then able to increase availability by pinpointing devices that require additional runtime. These reports are also invaluable for determining how much downtime, for a specific device, was related to power versus other factors, making Service Level Agreement (SLA) management considerably easier.
Recommended Actions: Enterprise Manager provides a detailed description of problems as they occur, as well as, recommended actions which may fix the associated problem. This unique feature reduces the need for training and speeds troubleshooting of power related problems.
Centralized Event Logging: Alarms from APC devices are stored in a centralized event log enabling IT Managers to pinpoint locations or UPSs which are subject to frequent power anomolies.
Broad Device Support: APC Enterprise Manager supports a wide range of APC devices, including, APC single-phase and three-phase UPS systems, APC MasterSwitch products, APC Network Management Cards, APC Environmental Monitoring Units and more.
E-mail Notification: Configurable email notification of UPS and Power alarms which could affect network availability. Pager notification via email gateway.
Exportable Reports: Reports can be easily exported into Word, Excel, rtf, and Crystal Reports format, allowing customers to quickly and easily integrate reports into custom presentations or sort information for custom reports.
