I had been waiting two years for an app store update (Photoshop Elements 12) but thought I would give the boxed version a try when I saw it here on macmall. It will not install on Mac OS X El Captain. The installer won't even run. I tried the free trial download from Adobe's site and it also would not run. I contacted tech support and someone in the Middle East (he told me that was where he was from) tried to walk me through, and kept sending me links that didn't work, and told me to rename a file in a folder that was not on my system. I gave up because I had somewhere to be. I will NEVER purchase another Adobe product that is not on the apple app store again, and probably won't purchase anything Adobe ever. They are incompetent, cannot make a simple installer. Do not purchase this, it will not install on El Captain
