The design of MacBook Pro packs a lot of power into not a lot of space. Because we believe that high performance shouldn't come at the expense of portability. And despite being so compact, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro delivers up to 10 hours of battery life - an hour more than the previous model.
The computer is fantastic. The HDMI port has already been super useful. I travel a lot, and have been able to plug in to HD TVs in hotel rooms to maximize my screen space. My only issues so far are more software driven. I had a lot of trouble getting Mail to manage all my email accounts, but the biggest thing is that I get the BLACK SCREEN OF DOOM everytime I reboot. I've seen videos on Youtube with almost 100,000 hits complaining about this, and saying that it's an El Capitan issue. I'm shocked this hasn't been worked out yet.
I am enjoying the many new features of this MacBookPro compared with my several years older version which had a few generations older operating system. It's a learning curve, but has been a fun one so far. So far, and as far as I can see in anticipation, it seems worth the price as the quality of Mac products in the past has made for durable and valuable products.
I'm very happy with my new Macbook Pro! It replaced a 2010 MacBook Pro. <br><br>Ordering through MacMall was easy. Their prices are comparable and in most instances a bit cheaper than Apple. Plus I earned 2% cashback with Ebates. Shipping was fast. <br><br>My gripe is with UPS. Maybe FedEx would be better? We were hit with the blizzard four days before my delivery was scheduled. Even though the roads were cleared by the time my Mac should have been delivered, UPS kept postponing my delivery, but that's not MacMall's fault. And when UPS finally delivered my Mac, they just left it outside, without ringing my doorbell to alert me that it had been delivered. Again, that's not MacMall's fault.
I'm very happy with this computer. However, I did not appreciate how it was delivered by Fedex. Fedex just left my computer outside of my apartment door. Luckily no one stole it, but Fedex has to have a better system to deliver expensive products. I'm very unsatisfied with Fedex and MacMall should change its delivery service.
Love my Macbook Pro! 15.4". Excellent performance. I replaced my 2010 Macbook Pro. It gave me lots of years of good to fair performance. Some issues with the screen, and it would occasionally just shut off on me. So, it was time to upgrade.<br><br>The price at MacMall is decent and a bit better than directly through Apple. Though Macs are no doubt pricey!!<br><br>I would recommend the newer laptops, especially for someone like me whom is a Digital & Video Specialist. Editing video on it is super fast, and rendering goes quickly. But graphics, as in image manipulation, and game character design is really great. Very happy with my computer.
From the ordering to the shipping everything was fast and easy and feel i received the best price all things considered than i would have buying from Best Buy, the Apple store or anywhere else. Shipping was fast and it arrived only a couple days after i ordered. I will defiantly order again from MacMall and recommend to friends.
I made a pretty big jump from a 2010 17" MacBook Pro, to this speed demon. It's great and handles everything I throw at it without even blinking. I was concerned originally about the drop in screen size, but the resolution makes up for it and I've adapted quicker than I thought. My only complaint is that the fan seems to kick in faster than on my previous machine, but they may be due to many factors, including the smaller design and faster processor. Overall, this is a great buy.
