Aluratek Bump P S02F speaker - wired or bluetooth

I liked this speaker from the minute I pulled it out of the box. It is totally simple to operate. You can plug it into your computer or iPhone or use Bluetooth. The sound isn't earthshattering, but it is a lot better than listening to music on my phone speaker. My wife and I watched a movie on her computer using this speaker the other day - it worked great. We could both hear just fine and the sound quality was very good. Just don't put turn the volume on your phone all the way up - causes distortion - probably from the phone rather than the speaker. On sale where I paid about $10 for it I was more than please with the value.

The speaker has remarkable acoustics for something so small and inexpensive. Sure it isn't a set of stereo computer speakers but nice for using on the go such as in your hotel room etc. Good value overall.

The Bump worked great with my phone and ipod. The sound quality is okay.. lacks bass... but I use it more for talk radio format. The Bump was a great price... overall I like it.

The Bump, bought on sale at the price of $10, is a wonderful little, easy to use speaker. Small enough to carry in your pocket. Two minutes to link with my iPad and ready to go. Good sound and adequately covers a small room. Perfect for sitting around a conference table. Very happy with my new little gadget.

This unit works well as a bluetooth speaker with either iphone or ipad although as with other small speakers, the bass response is a bit lacking.

While the sound from this speaker is loud, there is not much bass to it and comes off a little "tinny". The sound also gets distorted at high volumes. The bluetooth connection was easy to setup and the battery seems to last a good 5-7 hours. Please note that this uses a MINI usb connection to charge and not the more popular MICRO usb connection that most items use today. The audio cable is very short and very thin, so I don't expect it to last very long. However, this is not an issue if you plan to mostly use this speaker via bluetooth.
