The Plantronics CS530 headset represents the over-the-ear varieties of the CS500 series. That group represents the latest entry of the brand Plantronics, as it continues to set the wireless standard for desk phone communication. If this version is something not to your liking, there are three other wearing options available: convertible, over-the-head-mono, and over-the-head binaural.
In the aspect of call management, the CS530 Plantronics headset can handle calls up to 350 feet away from where its docking and charging base are located. This headset also allows you to hold conferences by adding up to three more headsets, which can link up by just docking up to the base. The headset already has the capability to do one-touch call answer / end, as well as increase or decrease volume, and mute. Its Electronic Hook Switch Cable or Handset Lifter can be assigned to either answer or end calls remotely.
The Plantronics CS530 headset uses voice-dedicated DECT technology to ensure clear audio conversations, with users having the option to either have narrow or wideband audio quality. The narrowband allows for extended talk time, while the wideband enables better sound quality.
