This was an upgrade to the 1080 version of the Apple TV. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade..

Thanks to a lousy cable provider (Time Warner) who has taken 3 months (so far) to repair line problems in my neighborhood, AppleTV has been a savior from boredom. My wife and I have started watching "Orange is the New Black" and "House of Cards" so far, not sure we'll stick with the first, but it has proven a viable alternative to cable. Of course we still have to decide if we'll keep the Netflix that is free for the first month. They all suck as much $ out of you as they can, it's either $10 a month for Netflix or $2.99 per program with Apple. <br><br>Nonetheless, we like the new options presented and with my refunds from TW, it's basically at no cost to us... yet. <br><br>The AppleTV also presents other nice capabilities to show images from my iPhone and iCloud, as well as movies, shows and songs previously purchased from iTunes. <br><br>I know the price was discounted because Apple will soon release a newer version, but due to the timing, it works out great... and we're happy with it.

Except for a common firewall setting in the Wi-Fi router, no issues in bringing the product online. Once online, it allows a myriad of choices to watch. It actually helps be less of a couch potato and more of a smart consumer of entertainment.

Perhaps it was this individual Apple TV, but the one we received lost connectivity with our router more than 6 times per movie on Netflix. In comparison, our friends Roku 3 never lost the connection over several movies - all factors being the same. <br><br>All the Apple functions with the unit worked just great but after all, if it loses connectivity so often it doesn’t serve its purpose.<br><br>The store was great with the return with a prompt prepaid return shipping label and a very prompt credit to our card. <br><br>Would shop at this store again.

The free delivery was really fast. Set up was very easy. It does more than I expected. A lot of the extras require a fee if you don't already pay for them. (Netflix HBO Sports) However the radio stations and other options are nice. It's a nice little device. Very happy with it.

Because our children’s Christmas gift, Netflix, we needed a device to hook to the internet and to the TV- whalaa, Apple TV. In the brick and mortar, the price was $99, which also included tax and a trip to said store. The store shipped it at no cost, to me, and the price was $94 and in my hands within 3 days. This was a good deal for us!

I purchased my apple TV from this store to save the five the bucks over the Apple Store bur suspected that the purchase would be worth it. The Apple TV did not disappoint! Attachment to the TV and installation on my network was simple and it works smoothly. Installation of upgrades is likewise simple. We use it mostly for Netflix, but there are many other choices available. I recommend the Apple TV without reservation. Like so many other Apple products, "it just works"!

The apple receiver was very simple to set up using the included instructions and worked correctly right from the beginning. You need a fast del or cable modem ,otherwise it will take awhile to load a movie especially in HD.I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my kid. It has all the shows and kid movies all in one place. I don't have to worry about what's on the tv because I set it for kids only content

Apple TV performs well, but some of its services are tough to use. So far I still have not figured out how to log into either ABC or PBS.

I have this and a Roku. I love my Roku a lot but this can do some things the Roku can't like the YouTube Channel, Airplay your devices to the TV, ETC but one thing I really like about it is you can Airplay your Mac Computer Screen to the TV which is one feature that I was anxious about and it works great. :)

This has been a terrific addition to our viewing options. Additional sporting events to see, movies from Netflix and airplay off of Apple devices. Wish I had gotten it much sooner.
