Once I got used to where to place my laptop in relation to my iMac so I could move back and forth with the mouse (or trackpad), this device worked flawlessly. I find it to be an excellent addition to my Apple hardware extras.
Shipping was very quick with excellent customer service, the J5 Wormhole works exactly as advertised allowing me to drag and drop files between my iMac and Dell laptop. For me, this is a lot less hassle coordinating files between the two machines.
Great for laptop to laptop or desktop file transfers. It eliminates the step of using a flash drive. I wish it could be used to transfer files like pictures and videos with an iPad, but it is still very useful.
I work in a computer forensic lab and I am constantly transferring files from one system to another. Having a tool such as the Wormhole has increased the productivity of my work. The ability to transfer between both PC and Mac is a great bonus.<br><br>
This product is a must have for anyone that uses multiple PCs/Macs and would like to be able to use just one keyboard and mouse to control them both. I used to have to have two keyboards and mice for the two Macs on my desk when I worked from home but now I just connect the Macs together using the Wormhole Switch and I can just use one wireless keyboard and magic mouse to control both machines. Very easy to install and configure. I can see a number of other applications for this switch such as migrating from one machine to another (copy and past across connected machines). Much easier to use than some SW solutions that I had previously tried and much more reliable.
