The Chat 150 VC has three built-in microphones for full 360-degree pickup, with performance equivalent to ClearOne's MAX EX conference phone.
The superior echo cancellation that the Chat 150 VC provides, along with the 8-12 foot microphone pickup range, make it a superior choice for providing audio functionality on video conferencing systems. It also has the capability to send audio from the far side to either the high-quality speaker in the Chat 150, or to the speakers on the TV of the video system.
The Chat 150 VC also features a USB connection, which means it can be used with PC-based collaboration applications such as VoIP softphones, PC-based video conferencing, internet telephony, web confernecing, and instant messaging with audio chat.
