The AMX5000 KVM switch is an 8x32 appliance that provides powerful multi-user access to servers and devices.
The AMX5000 KVM switch provides full bandwidth, real-time access to servers using your existing UTP cable infrastructure. The switch supports multi-platform server environments including PS/2 and Sun. It also provides access to serial-based devices.
The AMX5000 switch operates over end-to-end UTP cabling with automatic compensation for any video losses induced by cabling.
The easy to use OSCAR graphical user interface is included. The Avocent AMWorks Java-based system administration tool provides you with centralized management software.
