Awesome entertainment device
This is a great device for people who are looking for versatile entertainment devices. I wanted a gadget that would keep me occupied on the commute to and from the office, but I didn’t really want to go for a handheld console. Good thing I listened to my friend’s advice and got the 5th –gen iPod touch instead.
Now I barely even mind that the commute home sometimes takes more than an hour. Of course, the iPod touch lets me listen to music – and its audio output is excellent – but it also lets me watch videos and take relatively good-quality photos. It even lets me check email and Twitter, read eBooks, and make VOiP calls, so there’s a very, very small chance for me to get bored with my iPod touch. It’s probably the only handheld gadget I have that I consider a worthy investment. |

My first iPod
My new iPod touch is not just about music, the fact that you can use Apps and Games on this device it brings it to a whole new level. I recommend this product with my eyes closed. If you are looking for a mobile device but don't want to pay your wireless carrier over $100 in monthly charges this is the way to go.
It is literally having an IPhone without the phone feature. You can do almost everything you do with an iPhone on your iPod touch. Battery life is very good and picture quality is better than digital cameras from 4 years ago.
This iPod touch is everything it’s cracked up to be. Fast, sleek and loaded with features necessary to stay ahead of the pack. The only app so far that drains the battery a little bit faster is FaceTime; of course after using it for almost an hour, other than that is just amazing. Lastly, if you are planning to have a lot of games on this device, get one with more storage. |

What’s not to like in an iPod touch?
With this iPod touch for my baby girl, everyone in our family now has one. We’re just head over heels in love with it, ever since husband bought a second generation touch a couple of years ago. The kids picked up on it and wanted their own. Last Christmas it was my daughter’s turn to get an iPod.
I like the fact that kids find it very easy to use the iPod touch. It is intuitive that even kids can use it. I’m not technologically inclined myself, so it means a lot to me if a device is not too complicated to use. I wouldn’t need a powerful device that can do lots of things if that means getting stressed about the complications that that kind of capability will bring.
One thing I find really nice about the iPod is the apps. Props to the App Store for an amazing collection. It is a treasure trove of fun games and useful productivity apps. It seems like what I need in a device is there in the App Store. It’s true what my friends say, “there’s an app for that!”
Outside, the iPod is similarly impressive. I like the thinness and the form factor. It is not too big that you can use it comfortably with one hand. I couldn’t think of one bad thing to say about the iPod touch. It is one of those devices that couldn’t have gotten any better. |

iPod touch and MacMall review
Got the iPod touch a couple of days after I got my order confirmation. I didn’t expect it would be this fast and I’m pretty satisfied with the service I got - from ordering the iPod to receiving this follow-up email, requesting me for a review. This is the first time I ordered from MacMall and the experience has been seamless and without any hassle. I’d be coming back here when I needed another Apple item.
As for the unit, I’m loving it. The iPod touch has allowed me to hook up to the Internet as long as there is WiFi. This means I could check on my email and surf even in our local coffee shop or in our school cafeteria. It’s so much convenient having it.
The music player is decent. It has enough capacity to hold my digital files like music and videos. 64GB is amazing. I could load my entire library from my PC and the iPod touch is still roomy. This is definitely one of the things you should look out for when buying an iPod. It is not like other devices where you can expand the memory by buying a separate SD card. So my advice is that, go for the high-capacity models. Or the middle 32GB version if that would be enough for your needs.
Lastly, the App Store makes this tiny device do so much more. I bought the iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) and it’s wonderful. Simple to use yet powerful. Other apps are available according to your needs. If you need a complementary device for your computer, which can enable you to do light computing on the go, the iPod touch is worth considering. |
