Like many people who buy it, I mainly use my iPod shuffle during my morning or evening runs. I do most of my running on treadmills at the gym, so listening to my favorite music or even some funny podcasts helps prevent boredom and somehow keeps me motivated. I have no complaints with audio quality, the playback on even my oldest mp3s is relatively excellent. I love how the switch provides a variety of functions, which come in handy when I have to listen to my podcasts in order.
This iPod shuffle is the smallest, most unobtrusive mp3 player I’ve ever owned and I barely notice it’s there when I clip it onto the waistband of my track pants. Despite its size, the iPod feels well-built, so I feel like I’m going to be able to use this little mp3 player for a while. The buttons are raised so I can easily press them even without looking down.
This iPod comes in very cute colors, too, so it’s perfect for people who want mp3 players that are both attractive and functional.

Great gift idea
I’ve been using the new iPod shuffle for a couple of weeks now and it goes with me almost everywhere, especially during the weekends – running out to the gym in the morning, doing errands throughout the day, or cleaning around the house. I barely even notice it’s clipped to the waistband of my jeans. The shuffle switch is also very reliable – it took me a while to get the hang of it, but nowadays I can use the switch without giving it much thought. It’s a great basic mp3 player and using it is practically foolproof.
I actually got my iPod shuffle as a gift from my sister and I’m really enjoying it so far. For its price, the newest iPod shuffle makes for a great little gift. 2 GB still amounts to a lot of storage space and it’s hard to deny that these new iPods are eye-catching. This iPod’s lightweight features and built-in clip will also allow the recipient listen to their favorite music or podcasts anywhere they go.

Great gift for my dad
My dad loves music, and I knew that he’d love a way to take his favorite albums with him when he’s out doing repairs and building things in the backyard. So for his birthday a couple of weeks ago, I got an iPod shuffle and loaded it with a couple of his favorite remastered Beatles albums before I wrapped it up. He thought it was really cool and I even showed him how easy it is to connect the iPod to the computer so he can add or remove songs as he liked.
My dad doesn’t really like having heavy gadgets in his pockets so he enjoys that he can clip the iPod shuffle to his belt and forget that it’s there. I’ve tried the clip myself and it feels very secure, even on the sleeve of my shirt. 2 GB of space doesn’t seem that much, but he hasn’t complained about it yet, so I guess it’s sufficient for some users.

Nifty little music player
I wanted to buy a small mp3 player that I could use when I’m out running errands, and I’m glad I went with the 7th generation iPod shuffle. I didn’t want to use my phone’s music player because media playback tends to run down its battery. The iPod shuffle has been great so far. It can hold up to 2 GB of songs, and that isn’t really much, but it’s enough for six or seven of my favorite albums. I particularly like the option to switch shuffle off and play the songs in order.
The iPod touch’s biggest ‘plus’ for me is its physical design. It’s small and incredibly light, so it’s unobtrusive. I can clip it to my pocket or even my belt, and the clip has been strong so far, and my iPod hasn’t accidentally fallen off my person since I first used it. I’ve even done some heavy-duty under-car repairs with this iPod clipped onto my belt. The advertised 15 hours of battery life seems to be true, as well, since I’ve had to charge my iPod only thrice since I got it three weeks ago.

Great workout buddy
This small iPod has somehow made working out more enjoyable for me. Before I bought the iPod shuffle, I did my running without using any mp3 players, and now I finally understand why so many people have earphones plugged into their ears when they’re out jogging. This iPod shuffle clips right onto the waistband of my jogging shorts and it stays in place even when I’m running at full-speed, so I don’t have to worry about it getting lost. It’s also very light, so it’s very comfortable to have clipped on to your clothes.
This iPod shuffle has 2 GB of storage, which is just enough for my workout playlist. Sometimes I add an audiobook in along with the songs, so I can listen when I’m doing slow jogs or when I’m cooling down. I also love that I can control playback from a switch on top of the device, it helps me activate and deactivate the shuffle feature without slowing down much.

Great no-frills mp3 player
The new iPod shuffle is the perfect mp3 player for my needs. Its memory isn’t too big that I feel the need to fill it up with unnecessary mp3s just so the memory isn’t wasted. Two GB of memory is just right for me to load the shuffle up with my music library, since I always update my library via iTunes anyway.
Using the iPod shuffle is relatively straightforward. iTunes is pretty much all you need to load mp3s into the device. There buttons are clearly labeled and are easy to press, too. Overall, this is a great mp3 player for people looking for a basic mp3 player that’s reliable and durable.
Another thing I love about the shuffle is its lightweight features. The shuffle is so small that I sometimes forget that it’s on my person at all, aside from the earbuds in my ears. The shuffle’s clip also latches onto clothing very securely; I’ve taken the player with me on only 3 or 4 runs, but I’ve never had it fall off my sleeve or the bottom of my shirt.

Purchased as a gift, but I knew it’s good that I wouldn’t be embarrassed
This is a nice gift item under $50. In fact, I was able to give an iPod shuffle three times to three different persons and I haven’t been embarrassed to give it to them because I knew they would like it. Who wouldn’t want an iPod? Some people may not prefer an Apple product because it is expensive. I think it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you received it as gift, wouldn’t you want it?
Also, don’t worry about the iPod shuffle not being appreciated or used by the person you going to give it to. I gifted it to my grandmother who you’d think would have trouble using it. I loaded it with audio books that she likes and some tunes and she was cool with it.
Aside from being easy to use, the iPod shuffle is also small, convenient to carry, and very dependable to use. It’s got long battery life that you could use it throughout the week and just charge once a week on a weekend. The clip-and-go is nice, too, and perfect for carrying around.

iPod shuffle 2GB: Works as advertised.
Very easy to use and set up. I know my way around a computer, but one doesn’t have a techie to get started on the iPod shuffle. I think that’s the whole idea why Apple is one of those companies that put little thought on their product manuals. The iPod shuffle’s manual is written on a very tiny piece of paper that is folded to fit the box. I didn’t pay any attention to it not only because it is small but more so because it is unnecessary. I got my iTunes and ready and transferred songs to the shuffle. And that was it. It was ready to rock my tunes! It works as good and easy as it is claimed to be.
One thing of note, though. The 2GB is very small. It can fit 300 music tops. If you have a big media library, you might think twice about the shuffle and get a nano instead. The iPod nano is more expensive than the shuffle, though. However, if you need enough songs just for your commute and you can afford to sync every now and then, 2GB would be cool.

iPod shuffle 2GB Silver (4th Generation)
Portable and simple to use, it is a must-have if you want access to your music wherever you go. I mean, really wherever you go. The small for factor of the iPod shuffle and its clip-and-go design allows it to be carried around inconspicuously.
I use it on my commutes, I use it on my evening walks with the dog, and even when I wash the car. It’s nice. Only downside is, it’s got a measly 2GB capacity. The music, some 200 or so that can be copied, gets to be repeated after a while. At such point I feel the need to copy different songs because it gets tiresome. If you need more music, I guess you’re better off with the 8GB nano or iPod touch.
Additionally, I must say that Apple did a good job designing the buttons on the iPod shuffle. They’re firm and crisp, and do not easily get pushed in your pocket or wherever you put the shuffle.
You would think that with the shift of focus to touchscreens, the buttons would get eliminated, but it is here in the shuffle to stay. It is easier to control because you do not need to open a screen before you can control the iPod. In this regard the buttons make more sense.
iPod shuffle comes in 5 stunning colors. And with up to 15 hours of battery life, it is good to go for hundreds of songs. The control pad makes it easy to play your music. VoiceOver tells you the song title or playlist name. And you can sync multiple playlists from your iTunes library.
