The MacBook Pro

Combining the beauty and functionality of the MacBook and MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro represents the high-end, professional-level notebook built for those who are looking for a do-it-all machine.

The MacBook Pro comes in three variations, the 13” entry level, the 15” standard and the high end premium 17” version. The rigid construction of its aluminum unibody enclosure is an example of precise machining and engineering. So not only would you get a notebook that is thin, polished and refined but you’ll also be assured of its durability. The MacBook Pro is perfect wherever you need to bring it, whether at work, at school or at your favorite coffee shop.

The display itself is a technological piece to marvel at. It utilizes Apple’s LED backlighting technology which produces maximum brightness instantly while consuming less space than other displays. The MacBook Pro display offers 60% greater color gamut for richer and more vibrant colors that jump off the screen. It is encased in a seamless glass enclosure that makes it even more durable. Not to mention, its display is the free from mercury and arsenic elements, making it energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly.

As for the MacBook Pro’s keyboard, its rigid aluminum webbing and keys are curved to fit your fingers perfectly. They are also back lit, and are controlled by the ambient light sensor that regulates brightness of the keys according to the lighting in the room. The new and improved multi-touch trackpad is comfortably roomy for your fingers and features no buttons as the whole pad works as a button. This allows you to use your fingers to flip forward and back in your web browser history, zoom in and out of photos, and do other deft finger commands.

New Processors. Next Generation Graphics.

Inside the MacBook Pro is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor that runs up to 2.66GHz for the 13-inch model. For the 15 and 17-inch models, Intel i5 and i7 processors are available. These processors feature Turbo Boost, which is perfect for processor-intensive applications like Final Cut Pro. And with an integrated memory controller, the processors have faster access to memory data.

Playing the latest 3D games or viewing your favorite photos and videos will surely be a joy. MacBook Pro units are equipped with incredibly fast graphics processing. Its 13-inch models feature the NVIDIA GeForce 320M integrated graphic processor which is 80 percent faster and more energy-efficient than its previous generation. Inside the 15- and 17-inch models is the new NVIDIA GT 330M discrete graphics processor which is 30 percent more energy efficient than its previous generation. If you want greater power savings, these models automatically switch to the power-efficient Intel HD Graphics.

The new MacBook Pro also boasts of a battery life long enough to escape worry. Its 13-inch models give you up to 10 hours of battery life while the 15- and 17-inch models lasts up to 8-9 hours on a single charge.
